    How the lesson adapts

    Three first-try answers increase the challenge. Two mistakes on an activity make the next one easier. Hints and later review help with words that need practice. “Make it easier” always overrides the challenge.

    “Say & see” awards practice stars, not pronunciation grades. On-device word checking only reports whether a word was recognized. A missed recognition is not treated as a mistake. No child profile is created.

    Language-pack support varies by browser. This app never falls back to cloud speech recognition. There is no live AI model or visual speech assessment connected.

    For isolated phonics sounds, a grown-up models the cue. The device voice reads whole words.
